Advertising Exchange

Duke City Muscle is a small, privately owned business and we're trying to stand apart from the mass-produced gym clothes retailers. Do you own or operate a muscle and strength related business and want to increase your exposure? We can help each other out.

We offer you free banner ad or text ad space on our store pages in exchange for free equivalent ad space on your web site. So, why would you want to do this?

- It's free.
- You can negotiate ad size and placement.
- You'll target bodybuilders and strength athletes.
- You'll reach people who are actively shopping.

Banner Ads

To exchange banner ads, we would both follow these suggested guidelines:

- We each host our own banner ad image file on our own server so we can change ads and monitor statistics whenever we like.

We use banner ad sizes that fit neatly in side-bars or clusters of logos:
»  125 x 125  (square banner ad)
»  120 x 60    (popular side-bar size banner ad)
»  120 x 90    (popular side-bar size banner ad)
»  120 x 240  (vertical size banner ad)
»  120 x 600  (vertical size banner ad)

We use the simplest image file types:
»  Static JPG      (.jpg)
»  Animated GIF (.gif)
»  Static GIF       (.gif)
»  Static PNG     (.png)

- We email each other the URL of our banner, including the link URL to use.

- We place each other's text ad on our own site within 1 day of receipt.

- We position each other's ad in a high visibility location just like we'd want our own ad positioned. Check out the banners for VicRichards.com and Suits You Swimwear to see where your ad would appear on our storefront pages.

Text Ads

To exchange text ads, we would both follow these suggested guidelines:

- We email each other the text of our ad, including the text to link and the link URL to use.

- We stick to a length limit of 50 words.

- We place each other's text ad on our own site within 1 day of receipt.

- We display each other's ad in whatever font, size, and color our pages normally use (Duke City Muscle uses Helvetica/Arial, size -1, white) plus basic emphasis like bold and/or italic.

- We position each other's ad in a high visibility location just like we'd want our own ad positioned.
